Why outcome lies, and process doesn't

A favorable outcome can follow a weak decision, and a strong decision can lose. Praxis scores the recorded process separately from the outcome.

How it works: one four-phase loop

Every Praxis mode, from low-stakes replay to a live trade, uses the same four-phase record:

  • Read Diagnose context before acting: day type, location versus value, and available structure. “No trade” is a valid read.
  • Decide Commit a play in 4 parts: context, trigger, invalidation, and management. Record conviction and confidence separately.
  • Commit Lock the decision before the outcome is shown. No peeking or edits.
  • Review Score process first and outcome second. A supported read can lose; a weak read with a favorable outcome is flagged.

Field evidence, not backtests or opinions

Forward-test a play on closed trades. Terminal reports its current verdict from eligible field evidence.

One continuous loop, not two apps

Build judgment in Forge, record decisions in Terminal, and evaluate candidate plays with closed forward trades. The same loop connects both products.

Principles

  • Score the decision, not the result. Luck is isolated so skill can be seen.
  • No fabricated confidence. Below the declared sample requirement, Praxis displays “—”. A score appears only after its evidence requirement is met.
  • Skill must transfer. Completion alone does not establish skill. Decisions must be supported across novel cases and reviewed again when due.
  • Privacy by construction. The current trade record remains browser-local. Future contribution is inactive and causes no remote write.
